You basically have four choices for upgrading the machine.

Option one: A change of motherboard, which will give you the latest specification board, as fitted to the KTS670, this board has a Celeron ‘M’ processor at 800 MHz, this is at least four times the speed of your existing processor, the motherboard itself is eight times the speed of your existing, and the board has 1 Gb or RAM on board, which is 8 times the capacity and many times faster than your existing. Of course we also load the Windows XP operating system AND load Bosch ESITronic and get the release codes applied for you, so that the machine is returned fully operational.

The cost of option one is £1050.00

Option two: As option one, but with the addition of an 80Gb hard drive, to replace the 20Gb drive in your machine. This not only improves data access speeds, but also gives you some extra room for the future.

Cost of option two is £1100.00

Option three: Will basically upgrade your existing KTS650 to above the specification of the current KTS670. To achieve this we carry out option two above, but additionally we add the KTS670 diagnostic board & multiplexer boards. The advantage of this is that it not only makes it a much faster computer, but the diagnostic capabilities are also improved as you will have genuine dual K line communication, a much improved oscilloscope, no need for the external multiplexer (Ubox 2) and we also supply you the new 16 pin cable & 4 pin break out cable to suit this upgrade.

Cost of option three is: £1850.00

Finally, option four: You can trade in your existing KTS650 in exchange for a brand new KTS670 machine.

Cost of option four is £3990.00

ONE CALL DOES IT ALL, ONCE YOU HAVE DECIDED WHAT LEVEL OF UPGRADE YOU REQUIRE, WE’LL ARRANGE FOR OUR PARTNERS AT PARCEL FORCE TO COME TO YOU TO COLLECT YOUR KTS650, WE’LL THEN DO THE UPGRADE AND SEND IT BACK THE SAME WAY. IF YOU ARE LOCAL TO US, WE’LL ARRANGE FOR OUR OWN PEOPLE TO COLLECT AND DELIVER THE UNIT.

All prices exclude VAT and are current at the time of writing. Carriage charges would apply to transport the equipment to us & from us, these are charged at cost.

Warranty on upgraded equipment only extends to upgraded parts, not to the original parts of the machine.

Should you be interested in any of the above options, we would need the machine for around two days to carry out the upgrade, load the relevant software & obtain the release codes to operate the software.
