Course content:
These courses are specifically developed for technicians who are required to work on vehicle systems or components and are users of Bosch test equipment KTS520, KTS530, KTS540, KTS550, KTS570, KTS650 or KTS670. Bosch test equipment is designed to be user friendly with operator assistance provided by on board help & reference menus. On site user training is also given by us upon delivery of the equipment to your workshop.
However, the design requirement that offers flexibility of application & use, results in a variety of hardware & software operating procedures. Coupled with this, there are special functions or test programs.

This course is interactive & has a high practical contect to focus on the attainment of the user skills required to access all functions of the KTS equipment. The course is divided into linked modules & subject areas to cover the following topics:

Prerequisites and recommended reading prior to attending course:
Successful completion of VSE1 'Essential Test Procedures' is a recommendation prior to attending this course. Familiarity with computers, computer technology & terminology & the Windows operating system is also essential.
Assessment & certification:
Delegates will be expected to complete a course examination (at the Trainer's discretion) and achieve a pass mark of 70% or more.
A certificate of competence will be issued upon completion of this.
To obtian full diagnostic technician status, the delegate is required to complete the Diagnostc Technician one day practical & theory test. Upon successful completion, the delegate will be awarded with Bosch Diagnostic Technician status & certification, awarded by the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI).
