Early models of the Bosch KTS650 were running Windows ME, the latest versions of Bosch ESITronic & Control Unit Diagnosis are NOT compatible with the Windows ME operating system!

Surely I can just install Windows XP on my old KTS650 to make it work with ESITronic again!

Unfortunately it’s not as simple as that. The Processor on the older motherboard is simply not fast enough to run the later versions of Windows, additionally there is insufficient memory on the motherboard to run Windows XP!

The processor cannot be upgraded on this older motherboard, and the memory can only be upgraded with a similar type, so major upgrading of the machine is required.
